How does this procedure work?
In a short 30-45 min procedure, a RF micro-insulated needle will be used to deliver heat and radiofrequency to the excess fats under your eyes. These fats are melted then naturally passed out through your circulatory system. This radiofrequency also rejuvenates the overall appearance of your eyes by inducing collagen renewal (neocollagenesis). Is this procedure painful?
The procedure has minimal pain as we use both topical anaesthesia as well as local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort. Most patients breeze through the treatment with little concern.
When can I see the results?
The best results are seen 4-6 weeks post-treatment. Depending on the severity of your eyebags, Dr Larry may recommend a program of 2-3 sessions for longer lasting results.
You can expect fresher and younger looking eyes after this treatment.
Can I combine this procedure with other treatments?
This treatment can be combined safely with various filler treatments as well. In fact, we find the best results when treatment modalities are combined as each treatment addresses a particular aspect of ageing.
What do I look out for after treatment?
Immediately after treatment, we will recommend applying ice pack to minimise the bruising. There will be medication to relieve inflammation to consume for a few days. In addition, a follow-up appointment will be made to assess your recovery.
